ورقة " دور المعلوماتية في التعليم
والتعلم "، تناقش وتحلل تطور استخدام الحاسوب في التعليم،كما تبرز أهمية
توسيع دائرة استخدامه لمواجهة تحديات القرن العلمية والتقنية والتعليمية تلك التي
تربط تعلم الحاسوب بمفهوم الأمية، حيث يقاس محو الأمية التقنية بمدى التمكن من
استخدام الحاسوب.
تستعرض الورقة الأسس المناسبة لاستخدام
الحاسوب في كافة مراحل التعليم ومستوياته بإدخال مفهوم التقنية والحاسب الآلي في
التعليم والتعلم كمادة تعليمية وكوسيلة تعلم معتمدة على تقنية الصوت والصورة ، هذا
بالإضافة إلى تطوير المناهج عن طريق استخدام البرمجيات التعليمية وتدريب وإعداد
المدرسين والمدربين الخبراء المؤهلين للتعامل مع الحاسوب كوسيلة جديدة للتعلم
والتدرب، كما تستعرض الورقة دور شبكة المعلومات الدولية - الإنترنت - في العملية
التعليمية مع عرض تصور لفصل تعليمي / مؤسسة تعليمية وفق دراسة مقارنة.
وتخلص هذه الورقة إلى حث الخبراء
التربويين على تفعيل دور الحاسب الآلي في المناهج التعليمية والتدريبية وفق
الامكانات المتاحة وبما يخدم الأهداف التربوية في إطار عصري.
وختاما تعرض بعض التوصيات لإدراج تقنية
الحاسوب وفق برنامج زمني يتوافق وواقع التعليم والتدريب حاليا.

Abstract
This
paper which is entitled ‘ The role of informatics in education ` discusses and
analyses the developing use of computers in the field of education.
It
also underlines the significance of extending the use of computers in face of
the challenges of the century in the fields of science, technology and
education.
Such
challenges have given a new meaning to illiteracy, whereby the term eradication
of illiteracy is measured by the capacity to use a computer. The paper also
covers the main principles applicable when using computers in various
educational levels, whereby the concept of technology and computers are
introduced into the field of education as an academic subject and as an
educational means depending on the technology of multimedia.
In
addition to this, such an approach allows for the development of educational
curricula through the use of educational software programmes which also aid in
the training and preparation of teachers and trainers so that they become
capable of dealing with computers as a new method of teaching and training.
The
paper discusses the role played by the world wide web as an effective
educational tool. An educational module is presented in the form of a class or
institute as part of a comparative study.
To
sum up, this paper encourages educational experts to activate the role of
computers in academic and vocational curricula, depending on the resources available and in line with educational objectives which are presented in a
modern framework. The paper puts forward several recommendations on how to
merge computer technology in accordance with a time schedule that takes into
account current realistic educational and vocational circumstances.
